Sunday & Holy Day of Obligation Mass

The Eucharistic Celebration which is the source and summit of our Christian Life is of utmost importance and value to us as a community to grow in loving fellowship with one another. Our schedule of Masses: Saturday - 4:30pm; 6:30pm (Spanish) and Sunday - 7:30am, 9:30am, 11:30am and 2:00pm (Spanish).

Daily Mass

Daily Mass helps our community and parishioners deepen their love and devotion for the Eucharist and the Word of God. Daily Mass is Monday- Friday at 8:30AM.

Morning Rosary

Preparing for Mass is a good discipline that we are encourage to do. Before Mass starts, we pray the Rosary at 8:30 a.m. and meditate on the Jesus’ Holy Mysteries.

Adoration

Every Friday we have adoration of the Blessed Sacrament after 8:30am Mass until 10:00am followed a solemn benediction. Every first Friday of the month adoration is held from 9:00am until 7:00pm followed by a Holy Hour and a Mass in Spanish.

Devotions

Every Monday Charismatic group meets in the church to pray and sing from 7:00 to 9:00pm Every Tuesday we have novena devotion to our Lady of Perpetual Help after 8:30am Mass Every Friday, Divine Mercy devotion is held after 8:30am Mass First Saturday of the month, devotion to Immaculate Heart of Mary

Baptisms

Baptisms are held on every Saturday of the month at 10am except during Lent. English Baptism is held on the 2nd and 4th Saturday. Spanish Baptism is held on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month. For appointment, please call the Parish Office.

Weddings

The parish requires engaged couples to plan their marriage at least 6 months before the day of marriage. For more information concerning Weddings and Marriage Preparation please call the Parish Rectory.

Funerals

The death of a loved one is a difficult time for family and friends who are left behind. It is a great privilege for us to console family members and to help arrange the funeral liturgy such as vigil, mass and committal. For more information, please call our Parish Office.

Sacrament of the Anointing

This Sacrament is available to parishioners 24/7 particularly in case of imminent danger of death. We have an emergency number that is found in our Parish Office Phone Extension Directory. For more information in making an appointment, please call the Parish Office.

Sacrament of Reconciliation

The Sacrament of Reconciliation in English and Spanish is available every Saturday at 3:00 – 4:00pm. We have also Communal Reconciliation Service during Advent and Lent and schedules of these services are posted in the parish bulletin.

QUINCEAÑERAS

A Hispanic Tradition to celebrate the girls of 15th birthday with a thanksgiving Mass. At St. John’s, the celebration must be scheduled 6 months in advance. For more information call the parish office at 510-351-5050.
